Shot Blasting Machine is widelyused for automated surface treatment and finishing of castings. Working of Shot blasting machine
In the shot blasting process, astream of abrasive medium with the wanted kinetic energy is produced andpropelled onto the surface to be used. The stream of the cleaning tool, being a mix of metal shots, is a dynamically changeable system, including an intense and departed zone, as revealed by numerous studies.

This system is fit for lowerproduction uses where the most flexibility is needed. These systems are veryflexible in that the shot can be transferred horizontally through a rubber hose and nozzle attachment. This enables uses in finishing processes of steel frames and weldments thereby restoring hand tools. Because of this, an air blasting machine for a product line is costly related to a centrifugal blasting machine.
On the other hand, the same taskusing radial wheel turbines only needs a total of 100 Hp distributed to betweenone and a number of turbines housed in the same machine. Only one or two workers are needed for such a shot blasting machine.
By centrifugal turbine: Centrifugal wheel blasting is themajor common blast cleaning system as well as the most effective andenvironmentally friendly method. The turbine provides abrasive shots by radial force in a special and controlled way, speed, and quantity. The purpose of the turbine is comparable to that of a fan or centrifugal pump.
Shot Blasting Machine may useone or a number of turbines placed in such a way that the abrasive blast designcovers the entire surface of the element to be shot erased. The shape and size of the elements determine the number of turbines used in a machine. The control of the turbine motor is based on the quality of cleaning required and the speed of the element.
